Description: The course is a comprehensive training course and includes EMG, neurography and modification of these techniques.

Participants: The participants are supposed to have basic knowledge in the field of EMG and neurography. The course will be of interest for clinical neurophysiologists in training (part of the Swedish residency program, SK-kurs), neurologists, biomedical technicians and for those referring patients to the EMG lab such as handsurgeons, neurosurgeons, ortopedic surgeons, pediatric neurologists, medical rehabilitation physicians.
Course topics: Basic anatomy and physiology of nerve and muscle, recording and analysis methods for routine and research, indications for EDX, typical findings in nerve and muscle disorders, pediatric aspects of Clin Neurophysiology, and short comments on other fields. In addition some new methods will be demonstrated and discussed.
Registration: Number of participants restricted to 24. Acceptance on “first come, first served” basis. Cost 900 € (includes course material, coffee, lunches at the department and one dinner).

Travelling arrangements and hotel reservations: Needs to be taken care of by the participants themselves.
